home pick ups

Givemoreclothes can come to your home, business, or community space to collect your unwanted clothing, shoes, and textiles.

Givemoreclothes can come to your home, business, or community space to collect your unwanted clothing, shoes, and textiles. Whether you’re moving or decluttering your closet, dry cleaning service, retail store, or another space, we’re at your service. There is a 50$ pickup fee so that we can continue providing the service you have come to expect.

We will be setting aside each Friday as a home pick-up day and provide a 4-hour window for a pickup. If Friday doesn’t work for you, we will do our best to accommodate you on another day. Our driver will call you when you are next in the queue which should give ample heads-up. We will continue to add days as demand requires.

We ask that you leave your bags clearly marked with the doorman or accessible lobby so that we can do a fly-by pickup. Beyond that, we will do our best to accommodate specific instructions.

ONE-TIME PICKUP MINIMUMS

To maximize our efficiency and cut down on carbon emissions, we ask that you try to adhere to collection minimums set for each borough. For reference, an average plastic grocery store bag holds about 5 gallons, and a large drawstring kitchen trash bag holds 13 gallons.

Manhattan: 20 bags (30 gallons each)

Brooklyn: 15 bags (30 gallons each)

Queens: 30 bags (30 gallons each)

Bronx: 100 bags (30 gallons each)

Staten Island: 20 bags (30 gallons each)

If you are unable to meet the minimum amount for pickup, consider pooling with your neighbors. This period requires us to be highly efficient in order to continue operations. We appreciate your support and understanding.
